The Gates of Hell storm our physical senses until our spiritual senses are overwhelmed

 

1st Samuel 30:1

          If  tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life and I had to start again with just my children and my wife... (I'm Glad to be an American]

         If I didn’t live in America, as a child of the King, I could still say

          If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life and I had to start again with just my children and my wife, I’m proud to be a part of the Kingdom of God where at least I know I’m free!

 

Why did David need to encourage himself ?

A.  The Gates of Hell had stormed his physical senses until his spiritual senses were overwhelmed

B.   David is the great encourager
