Though we do not see them

Suddenly they appear

During the last heartbeat

To catch the final tear

In Majestic Splendor

They sweep down from above

The Chariot of Israel

And the horsemen thereof

While in patient cunning

The Lion stalks his prey

Poised to pounce and claim a soul

The Chariot carried away

The Serpent cries, “Where is he?

Death is my domain!”

Michael replies, “New Jerusalem

Where with Jesus he will reign.”
